NEWS

The fog has rolled back into the Polish Hill River, making for spectacularly cold but still stunning mornings. Bringing to close another exciting vintage.

The vines are shuttiing down and all the glorious fruits of our labour are nicely tucked up in barrels & tanks awaiting the moment they reach perfection before being bottled, and presented to the world. These delicious wines will be available to you our loyal freinds before they hit the Market so don’t miss out on the exclusive offers in the upcoming newsletters.

2006 Vintage Report

This year showed yet again the class of Clare & our regions consistency of high quality fruit. Early development was full of promise with mild warm weather & even ripening. The February heat wave caused the grapes to be out of balnace during late February and most of March. 45mm of rain at the end of March , much to our surprise, brought all the grape parameters of sugar, acid, pH & flavours back into line and we harvested some lovely fruit as a consequence.

Our winery and the boys worked without a hitch and it shows in the wines. We are extremely happy.
