The very low yields of the 2020 vintage helped produce smaller berries than usual for Grenache. This helped to produce ripe tannins and to concentrate the colours and flavours.
Tasting Notes
- Colour – Ruby red with a purple hue.
- Aroma – Aromatic, vibrant nose highlighted by confected red cherry/berry. rasp- berry and cherry cola with hints of sweet spices.
- Palate – Medium bodied, vibrant and fresh. Balanced complex palate of rich concentrated juicy dark cherry and red plum. Fine subtle tannins giving great structure and texture with an underlying savoury element supported by fresh acidity.
