Tasting Notes
Complex yet delicate, showing lifted aromas of yellow peach and nectarine layered with citrus and melon notes. Subtle hazelnut and creamy oak nuances add depth, complemented by a gentle flinty edge.
Soft and textural, with generous yellow peach, nectarine and melon flavours balanced by bright citrus acidity. Subtle vanilla and hazelnut notes reflect integrated oak and lees influence, while a fine mineral line carries through to a long, clean finish.
Winemaking
Machine harvested, destemmed and gently pressed taking only the free run juice and some light pressings. Fermented in stainless steel and French oak with a yeast strain. Matured on yeast lees for 8 months in French oak barrels (20% new) Stabilised filtered and bottled.
Food Pairing
Soft cheeses like brie or a mild Gruyère, or roast chicken with a white wine and herb sauce.
